Tuesday
- Trip Day! Today was the day we had our journey to Sabah!All was well-until the car's air-conditioner broke down at Temburong! Can u imagine this-a journey from Temburong all the way to Sabah without air-conditioning,and the weather is so bloody hot? Gosh~i was wearing a black blouse,and 'blck attracts heat',rite?We had the windows open,but unfortunately,with my dad's fast driving, the wind kept hittin my face lyk lil bits of rocks X_x Not to mention my front hair keeps slashing at my face no matter how hard i try to pin it bak behind my ears =S When we finally reached Sabah,we drove around lookin for a hotel to stay in,even though we orede booked for a hotel(Wah May Hotel) xP My dad didnt really lyk tat hotel,so he was persistent for my sister and i to ask EVERY hotel we passed by whether they had any room available or not T.T We finally got ourselves a nice hotel called Ang's hotel. It was opposite of the Kinabalu Emporium and around it was a few small shops and 7 Eleven's!!!! I love their SLURPEE SO DAMN MUCH! We didnt get to shop much as it was kinda late evening.
Wednesday
- Lol...we changed hotel today!It wuz mainly becoz there were so many ANTS in tat hotel! EEEW! And the shower was berserk!!The water turns HOT and COLD from time to time! My sis & parents got burned frm the sudden hot water T.T Lucky it didnt happen to me coz they warned me abt it(i was the last one to take a bath xP) So i jst bathed myself in cold cold water T.T We drove around town again lookin for a hotel to stay in. This tym we stayed at Mandarin Hotel. Again,we decided to change hotel after a one nite stay =S Why? Becoz there was no closet for us to hang our clothes! And we cud only use a friggin HOSE as our shower!! Gosh....wat a nitemare! I saw some really cute japanese guys today! xP So kawaiiiiiiii !! xP
Thursday
- We moved to Tang's Dynasty!!! OMG THIS HOTEL IS NICE xP This was the hotel we stayed in once,and it was HELL GOOD! BUT(again),my sis and i had to sleep on the FLOOR! They only had the twin room available,so my dad told us tat one bed is for mumi,and the other for him,and we,sleep on the floor =S We cudnt put the mattress down becoz it was stuck to the uh...bed post. We wanted to get ourselves another extra mattress,but damn,they cost $100 !! So my sis n i decided it was not worth it T.T Anywayz,i had quite a good time shoppin today. I really really envy sabah workers.Most of the shops are closed for cny!Lucky ppl! And on normal days they open from 10am to 6pm T.T Wahlau ehz...only Parkson Grand opens till 10pm =S I bought some stuff for my fwens, and of coz sum stuff for myself =D I find sabah gals quite unfriendly. Wen i smile at them they dont even smile bak.They had this 'dont-come-near-me-or-i'll-smack-you' looks on ALL the time! (No offense Justin!) Some of the guys were friendly though xP HEHE~i saw this really cute Body Shop guy...he looks so cool! My sis was tellin me to compare this guy wif the brunei bs guy, and i laffed lyk crazy xP The old guys here are freaky. They kept smilin at me and waved at me lyk as if we were long tym buddies O_o There was even this middle-aged taxi driver who waved at me and called out "Hallo Moi! Aduh~cantik betul, dua-dua gadis cantik ahh!" My sis and i were lyk -_- Anywayz,tat 'compliment' made us damn ego xP OOO Yeah~the drivers here are damn impatient! Once the red lights turn green they straight away honked at u! -_- SHEESH! Apart from tat, we went to Mount Kinabalu!!! YAY! It was a butt pain long ride,but quite worth it.On the road up the mountain,the wind was so cool we were actually freezin!I was so happy coz we spent lyk wat,two days of heat coz of the stupid air-cond! We heard some cars honkin behind us and all of us were lyk "God!Dont these ppl have PATIENCE?" But then,it turned out to be my dad's fwens honkin at him xP They over-take him and honked more T.T My dad was driving preety fast up the curvy road and i was so scared T.T Wat if the car accidentally skidded and we fell off the cliff? T.T Oh wellz,wen we finally reached mt.kinabalu centre...i was so xcited! But we didnt got to try out the trails coz my dad didnt let us...spoil sport! =( it made me pretty upset. My sis and i made a promise to come bak here one day and try out every trail mt.kinabalu offered!! Oh yeah,i met Daniel Morgina dere,an ex-st georgian. He was really frendly =)
Friday
- I am deprived of sleep T.T The floor is just so...hard. Even with the comforters,a floor is a floor T.T I got back-ache from sleepin on the floor,and shoulder ache form carryin the luggages T.T Anywayz,today more of the shops were open,though not all. I went to temporarily straighten my hair and it costed me $48 !! SO mahal! In brunei i can get tat done for lyk $10! GEE! My sis permed her hair and it costed her $200! OUCH MAN OUCH!The worst thing was tat it was completely WRONG!It wasnt how we pictured it to be =( Sigh..wat a bummer! So we got a lil moody abt this and my dad was complaining abt us. Then he told us we were cuttin our vacation short.Instead of goin bak on sunday,we are gonna come bak on saturday.All becoz he was worried for she-ra(MY pet dog) =S At nite we went to a pasar malam tat was rite nxt to a hotel(either madarin hotel or kinabalu hotel),and i saw this really cute Christin Dior leopard-skin wallet which i soooo loved!!BUt it was too expensive for me...$38...even though the guy told me he would sell it to me for $30,i still cudnt afford it.I blew my money on tat WORTHLESS hair-straightening. (PsssT!Justin,boleh beli for me and i pay u bak wen i got the money? *pleading eyes*) We passed this stall where they sold sunglasses and the guys dere were lyk tellin me "Hey miss! I noe u lyk sunglass! Beli lah!" I laffed wen i heard tat!! SO stupid lah!! xP
Today
- Sigh...SUCH A BLOODY HOT RIDE! Amazingly,it seemed faster to go bak to brunei then goin to sabah. Anyways...my dad told me this and it really hurt-"u noe why i wanna go bak so early? Becoz i worry for she-ra.U didnt bath her before we went to sabah,so she mite accidentally scratch herself and get entangled with her fur.If dat happens,she cant move so she wont be able to go kitchen and eat,then she will die. It tat happens,its URE FAULT." I was so close to tears...i kinda blive wat my mum say...it seems lyk as if he loved dogs more than us. Tat really hurt. God...bloggin abt this is CHOKING me now. Wen we reached our home,he rushed outta the car and went straight up to our house,callin the dog's name. =( Why does the vacation hafta end this way? Wen i got up,i even heard him say"Aww she-ra,im so glad ure alive.U noe how much im worried about you?" I never heard him say tat to me wen i had my asthma-attacks. I never even hear him say these kinda things to my brother,the most loved child of the family.
Well,overall i still had a good time,much thanks and love to my beloved sis. I love her more than anything =) And of coz thanks to manzy too for txting with me! =D Tats all,my fingers hurt! Ciaoz!
